I am currently a student at UC Berkeley pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. Whether it’s through my work as a coding instructor, music tutor, or software developer, I am passionate about making an impact on people through education and technology.

Co-instructor for Summer 2024 CS61BL (Data Structures). Lectured to 350+ students in daily 1-hour presentations on algorithms, Java programming, and implementing various data structures like HashMaps, Deques, Disjoint Sets, and B-Trees. Worked on an in-house database tool called Beacon to house student information, centralize grades, and generate data analytics on student performance.

Instructed 30+ students in weekly 2-hour discussion in the implementation of various data structures such as HashMaps, Deques, Disjoint Sets, B-Trees. Led students through 24 labs, 4 projects, and 4 homework assignments in weekly office hours. Led internal projects team in developing detailed project specifications, auto grader infrastructure, and optimized solutions. Exemplified leadership by managing the classroom, fostering a collaborative and equitable learning environment. Tutor Enrichment Director, The Music Connection @ UC Berkeley

2023 — present

Managed a cohort of 50 volunteer music tutors, supervising their engagement with 50 families around the Bay Area. Spearheaded internal software solutions to automate the tutor-family placement process and tutor email pipeline, saving 20+ board hours per semester. Led and designed curriculum for 2 tutor development workshops.

DeCal Course Facilitator, Eta Kappa Nu Mu Chapter

2023 — 2024

Recruited university guest lecturers to speak to 31 incoming freshmen about subfields of computer science. Distributed course materials and graded weekly interactive labs. Developed novel content for the Computer Security lecture, introducing students to common industry tools such as Git, GitHub, and Jupyter Notebook.

Eagle Scout, Boy Scouts of America

2018 — present

Managed a team of 13 volunteer workers through the design and construction of a traditional Japanese Torii arch for Vintage Gardens Assisted Living, an elder care facility serving 78 residents. Utilized project management skills to ensure under-budget and on-schedule completion.
